Fundraising Pupils Make the Most of Summer

Three of our Prep pupils raised extraordinary amounts of money for charity over the summer break.

Darcie completed the Steyning Triathlon and raised almost over £1800 for the Make Way Foundation in memory of her close friend Toby, who died earlier this year.

Jack completed an 8-day, 311km bike ride from Passau in Germany to Vienna in Austria via the Danube river path.  He and his brother, Archie, raised almost £900 for the Make Way Foundation, also in memory of their close friend Toby. The Make Way Foundation was set up a year ago to provide children living with physical disabilities wheelchairs and other mobility aids.

Ella and Lucy raised money for the PSP association in memory of their Grandad.  Ella ran 60km in 30 days and Lucy baked and sold cupcakes, raising almost £600 between them.  PSPA is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD).
