Wellbeing
Timetabled wellbeing lessons are a cornerstone of our school wide approach to wellbeing from Reception right through to Upper Sixth Form in the senior school.
Age-appropriate lessons empower our pupils to thrive personally and socially, to form positive relationships and to embrace inclusivity and diversity. Year group and class assemblies complement lessons, presenting key topics including mental health and promoting deeper exploration in class. Through these platforms pupils become equipped with the tools, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions about their own health and wellbeing. Through increasing their self-awareness, they will develop a sense of identity and learn how to contribute positively to society. The curriculum aims to foster confidence and resilience, enabling pupils to achieve and persevere through challenges, building strong foundations for life.
