Colts Claim Victory at Caterham U11 Football Tournament
The Colts boys claimed an amazing victory at the Caterham U11 Football Tournament last Saturday. The boys played some fantastic football in the group stages and did not concede a goal with victories over Hawthorns, Banstead Prep and Oakhyrst scoring seven in the process. In the semi-final the boys came from a goal behind to win 2-1 against a very strong Reigate St Mary’s side. In the final, the boys played a very skilful Aberdour side which was an end-to-end encounter with score ending 0-0. This led to penalties and Caterham held their nerve and scored all their penalties with Joel S pulling off an incredible save to deliver the trophy to Caterham. The standard of play from all schools was outstanding and the whole morning was a great advert for Prep school football.
