Igniting Curiosity in Global

Year 4 pupils eagerly gathered outside for an exciting volcano experiment during their Global lesson. Miss Carter and Mrs Scarsbrook carefully mixed baking soda, vinegar, and a touch of food colouring to create their own erupting volcano. The atmosphere buzzed with anticipation as they awaited the chemical reaction. Suddenly, foamy “lava” burst forth, eliciting cheers and laughter (after a couple of attempts). The hands-on activity not only made science fun but also brought their lessons on natural disasters and Earth’s geology to life in a memorable way.
