Mission Mummy at Haslemere Museum

Year 3 had a great day out at Haslemere Museum on Thursday. They learned all about the process of mummification and saw an actual Egyptian mummy. They mummified their own toys and sent them on their journey to the afterlife with masks and hieroglyphs. The museum also has a selection of rocks and fossils that the children tried to identify, and some amazing stuffed animals. It was a really good way to bring their global topic to life.
