Individual Music Lessons January 2025

Over the course of the Summer Term in Year 2 and this term in Year 3, the children have experienced playing the violin and viola as well as the toots, trombones and cornets. We would now like to offer them the opportunity to sign up for individual lessons to start in January.  

Here at Caterham Prep, we have a talented team of visiting music teachers, all of whom are extremely well-qualified and experienced. Our teachers perform all over the world and several are currently playing in West End shows as well as concert venues throughout the UK. We share all our visiting music teachers with the Senior School so that children who start here at Prep can continue their musical journey throughout their time at Caterham School.

Free trial lessons 

If your child is still undecided on which instrument to learn, we are offering FREE taster lessons this term. This way children can meet the teacher and try out an instrument that hasn’t been in the scheme such as: 

Clarinet 

Cello  

Double bass 

Saxophone 

Tenor Horn 

Flute
