Year 2 Jump into the world of Colour

In Art, Year 2 have been exploring the exciting world of colour mixing. The children had lots of fun experimenting with different combinations to discover the wide range of colours they could create. To make the activity even more immersive (and a little messy), they began by mixing colours with their fingers, bringing a new meaning to ‘hands on’ learning.

Now, armed with their new colour-mixing skills, the children are starting a painting project inspired by the Great Fire of London, where they will bring this historic event to life through vibrant and expressive artwork.
