Weather Can’t Freeze the Team Spirit!

Earlier this week, the Year 3s hosted a team from Moon Hall for a round of friendly netball coaching games.  Despite the awful weather, spirits were not dampened and everyone had the chance to try out a range of positions, in a game against our visitors and each other.  It was a super learning experience, but we hope for a slightly drier afternoon for the next match. On Wednesday, Moon Hall returned with two teams to play a mixed group of Year 5 and 6s; it was a great opportunity for the Caterham girls to play across the year groups and help the Moon Hall players in their learning of the game.  To wrap up the week on Thursday afternoon, the Year 4s travelled to Copthorne, where they were thrilled to learn upon arrival that they would play in the sports hall due to the freezing temperatures. All teams performed brilliantly, passing and moving into space-which was commented on by the opposition staff, and goals were a plenty! Next week, all year groups will be involved in a block fixture with Hawthorns.
