Caterham School Orchestral Open Day returns this summer and Caterham Music will be hosting instrumental musicians for an enriching day on Sunday 22 June. Please click here for full details for the day.   

Instrumental musicians from Caterham Prep will join forces with pupils from other local schools, to learn and play an exciting selection of music, under the direction of visiting guest conductor Robert Max. Robert enjoys a varied career as a solo cellist, conductor, and chamber musician; you can find out more about him here.

The day will end with a showcase concert, where participants will be joined by orchestras from the senior school to perform the music they have learned throughout the day.

Attendance is expected for all Caterham Prep pupils who play in one or more ensembles; parents of these pupils will not need to sign up on the online form.

Other pupils who play orchestral instruments but are not currently in an ensemble are encouraged to attend; parents of these pupils will need to sign up on the online form. Any such pupils should be at a minimum of Grade 3 level on their instrument. The deadline for registering is Friday 23 May.
