10 New School Records Set at Prep Sports Day!
The sun certainly did shine on us on Wednesday for our Sports Day. With sun beating down the children performed magnificently well and coped remarkably well in such high temperatures. The morning saw some fantastic field events with children taking part in the long jump, high jump and the ball throw. The afternoon’s track events were one of the most highly charged we have seen in years. The performances were simply outstanding from start to finish and we witnessed no less that 10 new school records. What was wonderful to see was the comraderies, the support and the sportsmanship between the children. Every runner was cheered and celebrated. Many thanks for all the fantastic support from the families cheering on from the sidelines which helped make the day such a great spectacle.
