A Visit from the Wright Society for Year 4
Year 4 were treated to a visit from Holly and Sally, Sixth Form pupils from the Wright Society in the senior school, which is for students who wish to become dentists, doctors and veterinarians.
We learned all about the organs of the body and handled models from a life-sized body. We then drew around ourselves and tried to remember where all the organs were and any facts we could add.
Mr Quinton, Head of Biology at the senior school commented on how impressed he was with not only the enthusiasm shown by the pupils but also their knowledge of the human body at such a young age.
Thank you to Mr Quinton for helping to organise it with Mrs Hills-Matthews – it was a great morning and we all really enjoyed the visit.
