Boys Football Season Comes to a Close

It was busy final two weeks of the boys football season with block fixtures against Micklefield and Copthorne and Reigate St Mary’s.  The Colts A team were desperately unlucky to lose 3-2 in a wonderful game, the B team won 6-1 in a fine performance and the C team played out an attritional 1-1 draw.  The following day the A team missed many chances resulting in a loss but the B team played some of their best football of the season in a 7-1 win, while the C team battled hard in an entertaining 0-0 draw. 

Last week in torrential rain the Colts A went down 2-1 in a great game, the B team won 4-1, the C team 3-1 and the D team claimed a fully deserved 1-1 draw.  Well done to all the boys who played so well this season and now we can look forward to a couple of weeks of rugby training before the fixtures start in earnest in January.
