Busy End of A Creative Year

It has been a busy end of term in the Art department. Year 2 have completed their portrait project finishing with some wonderful Tim Burton style characters. Year 3 have been working on completing their landscape paintings inspired by the work of Lucy Kent, they are also taking home their ceramic name plaques this week. Year 4 have explored one point perspective from a different angle, creating paintings looking up at skyscrapers in an imaginary city. Year 5 completed their radial symmetry project by working collaboratively to produce chalk drawings across the playground and also creating a large collaborative origami piece. Year 6 have finished the year by making coil pots with glaze and sgraffito. It has been a wonderful year packed with creativity.
