Caterham U11 Football Festival

It was a beautiful day on Saturday to host our annual U11 Football festival with eight teams taking part.  Caterham also entered a B team due to a late drop out.  Our A team started resolutely with a 0-0 with Banstead which was followed by a 1-1 draw with Hawthorns. The boys finished off the group with a resounding 6-0 win over Elmhurst which put us in the semi-final of the cup against Reigate.  Despite hitting the post and cross bar the boys went down to 1-0 to a good Reigate team who went on to eventually win the cup competition. 

The B team did exceptionally well, holding eventual winners Reigate to a narrow 1-0 loss, beating Oakhyrst and drawing with Elmhurst A.  The boys qualified for the plate semi-final beating Elmhurst B in the semi before losing on penalties in the final.  Well done to all the boys who took part.
