Chilly Start to Cricket Season Doesn’t Dampen Spirits!

Although we did not have the summer weather to kick start the cricket season, the girls thoroughly enjoyed matches against Hazelwood this week.

The U10s and U11s narrowly lost their respective matches but were commended by the opposition on their bowling technique and consistency.  Initial focus points will be moving our feet when in bat and alertness in the field.  The U9A and B rounded off the week with victories and the C team a draw; all teams listened well and acted upon feedback from the coaches.  Once again, a super display of bowling with several wickets taken and a number of boundary hits were evident on Pavilion Field.  Fingers crossed for some warmer weather next week as the girls face Russell House (U9-11).
