Pre-Prep Christmas Reading Challenge

This year, a record number of children took part in Mrs. Jackson’s Christmas reading challenge. Many shared an impressive array of books and stories with family, friends, pets, and relatives, both at home and during their holidays, in some truly unexpected locations. As with any challenge, there were certain criteria to be met, but once again, the children rose to the occasion. They read in the bath, on a train, in a secret hideout, behind the Christmas tree, on a Peloton bike (under parental supervision, of course), and even in the desert by a campfire, just to name a few. Additionally, with a recipe on the reading list, several children ventured into the kitchen to help prepare festive sweet treats and even a main course!  Huge congratulations to everyone who took part.
