Girls Football Fixture
This week, all girls from Years 3 to 6 have been involved in a block football fixture against The Hawthorns. Year 3 started off the week with a handful of mini games, which were played in fantastic spirit. On Wednesday, the U11A played with great composure, stringing together linking passes and some super finishes earned them a well-deserved 3-0 victory. The U11B and C combined due to absence and worked hard together, but on this occasion, The Hawthorns took the win. A win, loss, and a draw were on the score card for the U10s, again some great assertive play was on show but plenty still to work on, moving off the ball and communicating with each other will be a focus next week. The U9s finished off the week with a great display of work rate; chasing the ball and looking to play an early pass through which led to a great goal on the U9A pitch. The Bs equally had their fair share of chances and came away with a draw. Well done girls, you are all making fantastic progress.
