Key Stage One Reading Workshop

Key Stage One Reading Workshop

Last week, we were pleased to welcome a great number of parents to our first Key Stage One Reading Workshop, where we shared how Reading, Writing, and Spelling are taught in school.

The workshop focused on the importance of being a “Talk-a-lot” family, with an emphasis on encouraging conversation at home to support language development. We also discussed the complexities of the English language and how we approach these challenges in the classroom.

Given the positive feedback we received, we’re pleased to announce that this workshop will now be an annual feature on our school calendar. We look forward to continuing our work with parents to support the development of children’s literacy.
