Points Translate into Prizes with Languagenut

Our keen linguists have been battling for a place in the finals of the recent Languagenut Competition. A total of 135 pupils from Years 2 to 6 took part in their own time, with many exploring languages beyond French and Spanish. Once again, Cicero (Year 5) secured a spot in the UK’s top 50 and will soon receive an Amazon voucher as a prize. Caterham Prep performed brilliantly, finishing 22nd in the country overall with an impressive total of 4,410,200 points! Well done to everyone who participated!

It’s fantastic to see classes competing for the top spot on the school leaderboard each week. At the time of writing, 6S is leading, closely followed by 5M. It’s an exciting time to study languages, with so many opportunities to explore and understand how languages are connected. Some children are even challenging themselves to watch their favourite films in a different language!
