Reception Celebrate 100th Day of School

Reception Celebrate 100th Day of School

On Thursday, our Reception pupils marked a significant milestone—their 100th day of school! The day was filled with excitement, creativity, and plenty of fun as the children explored the number 100 through a variety of fun activities.

The morning was a flurry of creativity, with children making special “100 Days” glasses, designing t-shirts, sticking 100 stickers onto balloons, writing numbers to 100, and constructing models using 100 pieces. They also sang songs to 100 and completed 100 actions, all while developing their counting skills in an exciting and hands-on way. There was even a moment of surprise when the children were told they would have to eat 100 peas for lunch—only to discover it was just a joke!

The celebrations continued in the afternoon with an unforgettable magic show followed by a fun filled disco, complete with foam and bubbles! It was a brilliant day!

A huge well done to our wonderful Reception pupils for reaching this exciting milestone in their Caterham journey with such enthusiasm. What a fantastic way to celebrate 100 days of learning, friendship, and fun!
