Rugby Wins to Start Season

It was a fantastic start to the boys’ rugby fixtures this year.  The U9 teams played some wonderful rugby in some terrible conditions.  There was lots of hard running and ferocious tackling.  The A team beat Reigate St Mary’s 6-4 and Hawthorns 6-5 in two gripping encounters.  The B team drew both their matches 5-5 and the C team beat Reigate 7-5 and narrowly lost to Hawthorns by a solitary try.  Special mentions to Rocco, Charlie C, Robin A and Thomas who put in inspired performances.
