Warhol influences Global Artwork

This week the children in 1M have been learning about the American artist Andy Warhol and looking at examples of his ‘pop art’ work. We have tried to recreate our own pictures in his style by using oil pastels. Each child chose a different mode of transport to tie in with our big question ‘How do people get from one place to another? ‘ and had to carefully co-ordinate and rotate 4 different colours to complete their work. We think the children have done a fabulous job and their pictures look very effective – well done 1M!
