Year 1 Explore and Investigate

Year One were having so much fun exploring and investigating  the outdoor areas this week. They were climbing, making music, balancing and working collaboratively to create a shelter. 

The children have also been learning about rivers and dams in their topic lessons. After looking at the Thames barrier and Aswan dam in Egypt, the children asked if they could try and build their own dams. There are definitely some future engineers in the making!
