Year 2’s Print and Press Art Workshop

On Thursday afternoon, Year 2 had a wonderful time printing with parent visitors Mr Ayres and Mrs De Villiers. Mr Ayres spoke to the children about the history of letter presses and explained his family connection to the Adana letter press company. Mrs De Villiers led the children in a fantastic workshop using Lego Dots to create their own print plates and they each got to have a go at using the presses themselves. What a wonderful afternoon!
